The original print I submitted to my teacher in black and white, to of course study composition overall. She found this shot to be THE BEST out of the - oh 173 shots. Except for the evil, EVIL cut off of my hair. Oh, and the shadow casting on the background. Oh, and my moving due to the slightly slow shutter speed because I had horrible lighting at the time.
This was still before I knew to sit as far as I could away from the background so I can actually get a white background. (Didnt know the zone theory then either).
Taken last month, right after I learned about compositional elements. This was to reflect what I had learned. So I styled my hair to repeat the circle shape as seen in the blouse. (Repetition) Negative space in my line of sight - dynamic movement... Diagonals on the top straps....
this is such... natural beauty. it's almost like you picked up the earth and applied it to what you already have. the silver streak looks amazing with your skin tone. it really makes me wish i was darker. excellent. <33
Girl, that makeup can be applied to anyone of any complexion. Its all about using colors that looks good against, or will bring out your skin tone. It will usually have the same effect...
